Primp and Preen Turns One!

It is 365 days and 358 posts since I started Primp and Preen.  At first I was blogging away to no one, unless you count Mike who was summoned to the computer each time I blogged.  In all fairness it was Mike who thought that I should start my own blog after reading so many of yours and I'm so glad that I listened to him. 

When I started, I coulnd't have imagined that I would have had this much to talk about!  I'm not usually known for sticking to things so the 358 posts that I've managed to write in just one year have come as quite a surprise to me.  I know I rabbit on a bit but crikey- that's a lot of posts!

I still get so excited every time that I gain a follower and see that I have a comment to moderate.  I don't think I'll ever lose that feeling because knowing that people read what I write and have something to say in response makes me so proud of my little blog.  I'm thrilled to have reached over 250 followers by my first blog birthday and if I wasn't so penniless at the moment I would be running a giveaway to celebrate both things.  I will have to make up for that when I am back on track with my money :)

So thanks for following, thanks for commenting and thanks for reading.  I'm a bit of a Statcounter obsessive and have happily watched my stats go up and up and up over the last 12 months so I know that you're out there, and I appreciate you all stopping by. 

Hopefully the next year will be full of more fun and blogging frolics.  I'll be heading down to London next week for my first ever bloggers event (how exciting!) which is a brilliant start to my second year of blogging and I will continue to post my FOTDs, NOTDs, OOTDs and plenty of reviews along with Monday's Good Stuff and whatever else pops into my head!

Writing my blog, and getting to know so many wonderful people through it (especially through Twitter) so here- have a cupcake on me!
